Book Review: The Marriage Bargain

The Marriage BargainThe Marriage Bargain by Sandra Edwards
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a good book that I really enjoyed. I loved the story and how it ended. Camille enters into marriage with ultra rich playboy, Julian. Although it begins as a business arrangement, they end up falling in love.

I liked this book and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a great beach read! 🙂

Likeable Business

Likeable BusinessLikeable Business: Why Today’s Consumers Demand More and How Leaders Can Deliver
by Dave Kerpen

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this book and the concepts it presents. I believe that in this day of social media, it’s important that your company is “likeable”. Dave Kerpen gives examples of companies that are doing it right and how you can make sure that your company does it right. At the end of each chapter are action items to apply to how you run your company.

This is going to be a book I recommend to people who want to understand the impact that social media can have on their business.

It’s also going to be a gift book. I bought it for my son for his birthday! 🙂

Love Rehab

Love RehabI loved this book! Love Rehab is a cute story with great characters.

While having to drive her best friend to an AA meeting and taking part in the sharing so as not to let on that she wasn’t an alcoholic, Sophie feels so unburdened and happy for the first time since her boyfriend broke up with her. After she is found out as a non-alcoholic, Sophie sets up LAA – Love Addicts Anonymous. Thus begins a story of compassion, hope and love the right way.

I wished this book didn’t end so soon. I could not put it down and read it in one sitting! 🙂
