Book Review: Lift and Separate

Lift and Separate: A NovelLift and Separate: A Novel by Marilyn Simon Rothstein
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book! It was fun and fast paced.

Marcy is surprised that her husband moves out after 33 years of marriage after telling her of an affair he’d had with a fitting model at his lingerie factory. She was absolutely crushed and over a few weeks, when Harvey wanted to come back, she was actually considering it when he told her that the model was pregnant with his child.

That was enough for March and she began to start her own life. I loved how her friendship grew with Candy as they went through the tough spots in their lives. I love how she finally began to realize what she wanted instead of what anyone else wanted after so many years of doing for others.

This book was frantic in parts but laughing out loud funny in other parts. I highly recommend this book!
